Bio:

I have a reputation for angst which is thoroughly undeserved, because my characters always end up with a realistic happy ever after - whatever I might put them through before! For some reason, I seem to spend most of my time writing stories about the Maynard family and what they get up to after the series, though I have been known to make suffer other members of The Clan too.

Summary:

After the ice carnival, Susie needs to re-establish the bounds of her relationship with Nell, and matters come to a head when Matron Wilson steps in. An eventful trip to Spartz and the ensuing row force Rafaela to take a long look at her behaviour, and Evelyn seemingly cannot escape her world of fear. On top of this, there is the small matter of the junior school thief to be considered. As the end of term approaches, will any of them be able to find a solution to their troubles?

Well, I suppose that they at least all made it back safely in the end... I can't await to see the fireworks at school! Thanks Finn =)

I am thoroughly with Tristan on the subject of cats! It was nice to have a scene with him and Sarah in again. Thankyou. I can't wait to see what Susie decides to do about it all!

That was a very good idea - and it does also explain why Matron's behaving the way that she is. I just hope that poor Susie can sort everything out; it really does sound like time she went to see Madge!

Thankyou!

What a whole heap of problems they seem to have got themselves into! Let's hope that Madge can untangle it all - she was always very good at that. Thankyou!

I'm rather scared that I'm in trouble - I was right in there with them, and now I want to run and hide under the desk away from Susie!

Author's Response:

This comment also made me laugh. Is Susie that scary?

You can't leave us there! You have to come back and sort out things at the Chalet! And what sort of trouble is Nico going to get into now, I wonder? I think you know what I think he needs to sort him out...

Thankyou for the update!

Author's Response:

I know, and I also know what I'm going to do with him! Your soul in patience you must possess, my lamb.

Well, at least they've solved one problem - and in a very GOesque manner! But that doesn't tell us any more about Susie you know... *glares at Finn*

Thankyou!

Oh no oh no oh no! I can see all sorts of problems building up. Arrrgh, you do like having lots of cliffs at once! Oh well, Sarah and her magic instruments can sort out any problem I'm sure ;-D

Author's Response:

What cliffs were there in there?! I thought it was a clear and honest update...

And you leave Sarah and her instruments out of this.

I sense heartbreak for poor Tristan in the near future! But who to cause it first, I wonder? It was a nice idea from Susie, let's hope it works and she has one nice memory to bide her on her way!

Thankyou!

It's nice to see Rafaela learn her lesson in true Chalet style; one day, I feel sure, she will be a proper CS girl!

Thanking you for the update!

Awww, bless, I do love them! You make them so lovely together. I can't wait to read about the holiday in Paris and find out who the new mistress is!

Thankyou!

Teehee, I do love delving in Madame Denny's wardrobe now and again! Although I have to say that Tristan has taken on a whole new aspect in my mind, because the line about him bowing just made me picture Alan Rickman's Snape...

That was a sweet update! Well. Sort of. Thankyou!

Author's Response:

"made me picture Alan Rickman's Snape"

Um. *boggles* Why, dare I ask?

Thanks for the comment! Glad you appreciated the peep into the wardrobe...all based on a true story!

I'm really pleased that Evelyn is going to get to spend the holidays with people that she likes, but what a nasty letter. *prod Evelyn's father* I do hope that Susie and Tristan can help! (Goodness, they sound like some sort of superhero team...)

Thankyou for the update!

Author's Response:

They sound like it because they are! He sings rude songs at people while she draws them in unflattering poses and publishes them in magazines...

Thanks for the comment!

You make dying sound like the sensible thing for all adults to do! Thankyou for a nice update; it was lovely to see Mollie's excitement. I just hope that they find Nico without any bother!

Author's Response:

Well, it's an obvious thing for all adults to do...

Thankyou Finn! (You were nearly Ginn then, very appropriate!) It's really good to see the quieter side of it all, as well as getting to see Susie being happy - relatively - and enjoying her second chance.

Author's Response:

I have frequently mistyped my name Ginn, and reflected each time that it's a very appropriate mistake to make...

Glad you enjoyed it :) thanks for the comment.

Uh-oh! I sense a lot of mischief going on - and some probably dire consequences, too! (It wouldn't be your drabble without them =D)

Please come back and solve my wibbling mind soon!

Author's Response:

I fear it is beyond my powers to solve your mind, young Ariel! However, I will return tomorrow evening to assuage your fears - not long to wait!

Oh well done Nell! Give the game away like that... Otherwise, what a brilliant update! Fantastic pranks, and a fantastic punishment from Susie. A truly splendiferous Christmas present! (Tho' not nearly as good as my Tristan, au natural =D) Thankye!

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it. Yes, silly Nell. Oh well, the game is well and truly up now!

Oh, I am sad that it is finished! And on such a sad note between Susie and Tristan, too. Let's hope that Paris bucks them up and they start getting on better! They could maybe both teach each other the tact that they need...

Thankyou, and happy new year!

Author's Response:

Erm, those two? Tact? Are you being silly, young Ariel?

Awwww that's horribly sad! But I'm going to assume that he never actually died. He left the motorbike there on the track and walked away, and in a couple of years he's going to track Mary-Lou down and show her how he's turned his life around and got a job and a new identity and how they can be happy together now because she was right all along.

After all, it's all perfectly explainable ;-)

Thankyou for a lovely drabble, even if you did have to make me invent my own happy ending!

Author's Response:

Well, in both the story and the song neither the bike nor the body are found so, who knows?
