Bio:

I have a reputation for angst which is thoroughly undeserved, because my characters always end up with a realistic happy ever after - whatever I might put them through before! For some reason, I seem to spend most of my time writing stories about the Maynard family and what they get up to after the series, though I have been known to make suffer other members of The Clan too.

It's nice to see most of the story happening so similarly even without Joey. But I wonder - you make it sound like Constance was the last trip, so is she going to be the naughty one in this?

Thankyou!

Author's Response: Do I indeed. No Constance isn't the last Trip...

It's so good to see Joey out doing such brilliant work, and she seems to be so much more fulfilled and grown as a person than in the books in so many ways. Thankyou!

Author's Response: Thank you. I think this Joey is more selfish, but it actually works for her. :-)

Awww! It's really nice to see all of the Riound House crew settling down, and life going on without Joey in the middle of it all.

Thankyou!

Author's Response: Thank you! Its ibteresting working out what might change and what might stay the same.

Ooh - lots of cliffs! I fear that Dr Jem might be in trouble when Madge finds out. I hope Jo's ok. Thankyou for another post! Please don't wait as long next time!

Author's Response: Thank you, and hope it wasn't too long!

It's good that Joey gets to go back to America again, and I'm pleased that she was ok and there was no lasting damage. Thankyou.

Author's Response: Glad to know that, I onpy plammed on her taking a brief visit back to the UK, but the war bunnies took over!

Poor Phil, he must be really struggling. I'd hate to be the newspaper once Jo, Madge and Jem descend on them! Thankyou.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review, only just found it! Phil really does have an uphill battle, I agree.

I'd never thought what it must have been like for Corney in America as an heiress - that helps explain why Mr Flower chose the CS, though! Thankyou!

Author's Response: No I hadn't until recently, but it makes sense why he wanted her out of the way and not being treated like an heiress all the time! Thanks for reviewing. :-)

Bless them! They will be so good together, once they can fathom how to both sleep at the same time.

Thankyou!

Author's Response:

I hope they will - they're making a nice sappy start in today's update, at any rate ;)

So, she gave her lips, eh? *chortle*

Hmmm, I'm rather worried about half term and Kathie's secret, but I just hope that this means you can't possibly leave Kathie worrying so much for too long and will be back soon!

Author's Response:

We definitely don't want Kathie worrying for too long, so I'll do my best - but no promises!

Haha, brilliant ending to that chapter! But there must be much more than that. There has to be.

Author's Response:

*thinks over the list of plot points left to be covered* Nope, definitely just the one chapter to go, sorry! (Although, on the positive side, not having WMK on my to-do list should mean that I'll finally get a chance to catch up on reading Isobel - I lost my place in it after the move from the CBB, and haven't managed to catch up yet!)

Awwwwwwwwwww!

Author's Response:

I almost couldn't bear to let them be so sentimental - and then I decided, given all the interruptions they had to deal with at the start of the drabble, that I really owed them this one!

Thankyou for writing it! That was the perfect ending, and I like the hint at the end; those two would make a redoubtable couple! Sharing Kathie and Nancy's journey has been funny and sad and moving and just thankyou!

Author's Response:

Thanks for all the comments :) I'm glad you enjoyed it :) (And now I'm planning to spend this weekend catching up on Isobel :) )

Thankyou for another fabulously spiffy Gus story!

I think that Jo does have point here, but then, so does Jack - so far she hasn't always exactly been the model patient. Let's hope that Jem manages to keep an eye on her between it all! (Or is this her chance to meet the La Rochelle people?)

Thankyou!
