Now I am In Suspense. I think this is Cruel, and that you should come back VERY SOON and tell us what Miss Marple knows!

Author's Response: I know, it is cruel. Will post more soon! Thanks for the review!

Oh, marvellous. I love Marple, and am quite fond of this particular mystery - looking forward to seeing what you're planning!

Author's Response: Thanks, Finn. 4.50 is one of my favourites, so couldn't resist!

I'm liking the laundry list code! Now just to find out what the hell is going on...

Author's Response: Wish someone would tell me...........

Ooh 'eck! What's Miss A going to say? Still enjoying this - particularly the sarcophagus! Thanks, Lizzie :D

A body in the sarcophagus? Whatever next! Now, was it a human body, or a dog, or a corpus of literature, or a mannequin like Juliet and Grizel and Joey fished out of the lake in Camp?

*waits in anticipation*

Author's Response: Lots of lovely plot bunnies running around.... Thanks for the ideas!

Ooh, Matron! I mean...there's clearly something fishy going on. Good thing Inspector Haddock is around, I suppose. (He can mackarel fuss about it and get some proof beyond reasonable trout).

(Sorry about the jokes. I do it for the halibut. Although the Reasonable Trout does not belong to me - I'm just borrowing it).

So yeah, thanks!

Author's Response: I've been avoiding all the fish jokes, so thanks for getting them over in one go!! Thanks, Finn.

Ooh 'eck, what's going on? Sorry, I seemed to miss several updates of this. I'm glad Sarah's on the Right Side! She's jolly sensible and full of good ideas - maybe she'll be able to help Lucy out...I do hope so, at least.

Thanks for more of this - looking forward to the next part :)

Author's Response: Or is she pretending to be on Lucy's side and actually in league with the Matey Mob?....

Oh no! Sarah is Evil! How could you??? *cries heartbrokenly*

Author's Response: Sorry, but plots need twists - and so many people were suggesting she might be double-crossing Lucy that I had to follow the bunnies!

I am deeply relieved that Sarah wasn't evil after all :D And as for the rest of it, well, I've thoroughly enjoyed this story and it has made me laugh several times. I'm not surprised Rosalie turned out to be the mastermind, I always thought she was more canny than she seemed!

Thank you very much, Lizzie!

Author's Response: I have this subversive desire to get rid of the too-good-to-be-true characters! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the reviews!

I should add, re. macyrose's review, that I think it will be interesting to see how Matty and Tristan rebuild their relationship, given that this particular aspect of it seems closed to them. Not every relationship is about sex, and in fact I think those that don't involve sex are in many ways more interesting than those that do!

Author's Response: Lol. Good good !

Summary: It's 1948 and the Chalet School has been invited to visit a new school which has opened in Briesau on the Tiern See. Having managed to rebuild the school's reputation over the previous two years and avoid closure, Miss Annersley is understandably keen to have an uneventful trip. But of course nothing is simple when Lucy Thomas and her Aunt Jane are around. Not to mention Madge having ideas for changes at the school which could have far-reaching consequences, particularly for Miss Annersley. What starts out as a pleasant winter break from the school routine, rapidly turns into a nightmare....

Readers of "4.50 from Haddington", "Murr-durr Most Chalet" and "The Body in the Chalet School Library" will meet some old friends.

Oh, lovely. Marple and Poirot so beautifully in character, drama and tension and Miss A's G&T problem...

Agatha Christie always said she'd never write a mystery where Poirot and Marple met, because they were so different in character they'd never have been able to work together, but I must say, I'm rather looking forward to seeing how they manage in this scenario!

Author's Response: Thanks, Finn! I think it could be a battle of the egos - there may be trouble ahead!
