Love the little interlude between cousins.  Nice to see them alone for a change.

Thanks Elennare

Author's Response:

Thank you! I like to think they would have spent time together, even if we don't see it much.

Lovely. I do like seeing characters off duty in this way.

Author's Response:

Thank you! It's fun to explore their interactions outside work :)

Nice to see the cousins chatting together, and this is a very believable topic.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm glad it felt believable :)

Love this, thank you. Simple and honest, and had forgotten that they were cousins, it's nice seeing the family friendship.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm happy you liked it :) I think EBD might have forgotten that they were cousins, it never gets mentioned in the later books ;) But I like to think they were good friends.

Interesting! Although I doubt they'd actually have a conversation about it, I can quite believe their attitudes so the conversation is plausible!

Thanks.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I doubt the subject would have come up out of nowhere, but in Rosalie's place I'd definitely have been feeling a bit fed up after Jo's questions, and wanting to discuss it with someone less pro "marriage and a gazillion babies is what everyone should have/want" than Jo, and Peggy's cheeky enough to get away with asking about it... (Also, though it's not in the story because I didn't remember it at the time, Mary had just had her twins, so I suspect that letter to Peggy might have had a paragraph or two about the joys of motherhood, and 'when are you going to get married?'). I'm glad their attitudes seemed plausible to you :)
