Heh heh, naughty Jack! So they *still* haven't learnt the art of discretion I see...
I think they're so used to all of us lot spying on their every move, that they forget that it's possible to close the door on the rest of the CS world ;)

Like this a lot - Jack's emotions very real and glad she can explain her actions so well to Kathy and Nancy - it could have had a horribly different outcome.
It's nice to know you liked it :) It could indeed have gone very differently - I think it will still bother Kathie for a while, though Nancy should be able to shake it off fairly easily, if she's already managing to see certain amusing aspects to it.

Naughty of Jack, but very good of her to own up! Interesting that her feelings for Len might mean more than what she thinks! Thankyou :)
Yes, I get the impression that Jack isn't too sure *what* she feels about Len. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Blimey! What a confession. I'm not sure whether to be pleased Jack had confessed or not. Thanks Eleanore, very thought provoking. :-D
I'm certain Nancy and Kathie would have been happier not knowing! Still, Jack didn't manage too badly with her apology, so I'm sure they'll recover in time!

wowsers, this is good! but honestly, couldn't Len have left it alone for once? I love Jack having more questions than answers :-) and how protective she becomes of them even as she's doing something very, very wrong...and I loved the line about wondering why Kathie's had been given a room of her own, and the hidden sign from Kathie that only Nancy sees at the end...
I know - I wanted to shake Len when she insisted on explanations and apologies, but she wouldn't be told...

Thank you Eleanore - actually interesting seeing how Jack realised her actions were unfair, even if no one knew. It's also very typical Jack. She doesn't deep down want to behave wrongly, but her personality and self centredness makes her forget. Alao typical of Len to feel the apology ought to be made.
You write Jack really well actually - aby chance I can convince you to write Jack more ?
Lovely as well that Jack could see how in love they were. Particularly in the 50s, Jack would have potentially thought hersrlf the only one, have not really thought a happy life could be had with her (in my world!) leanings. Thanks Eleanore. :-D
Possibly I might write more of Jack in future - I'll have to wait and see what storylines present themselves to me...
