What a lovely little story! Do we get to hear any more about the assassin - love that all descendants of the goddess must have a variant of Robin as their name!!

Quote: “This is called Robynne’s Cave. Only my descendants, and their allies, will be kept safe by this cave.” She raised her staff towards the cave and a ray of light shot out of the end, the colour of honey.

“Was that really necessary?” asked the Assassin.

“Not really,” she smiled at him. They had finally reached a level of understanding. “But maybe one day my ancestor will be on the run from evil again, and this will be her escape.”

... but you have an ancestor where you need a[nother] descendant, though, I think :)

Don't want to be picky, but think you mean 'descendant' not 'ancestor'

Author's Response:

Too true! Sorry, corrected now :) Thank you for pointing it out.
